Akhnaton Films is a film, video, and animation production company dedicated to the advancement of Egyptians, Arabs, Iranians, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Mexicans, Americans, Germans, Puerto Ricans, Buddhists, Africans, and any other human beings around the world.
Akhnaton Films was founded by Filmmaker Sherif Sadek in 1999 in Rochester, New York in honor of Pharaoh Nebmare Akhnaton, a king from Egypt's New Kingdom, who had led a radical revolution in the Egyptian Art movement, that turned world art upside down, because of it's controversy. 4,000 years later, Akhnaton Films once again tries to push those limits of art creating provocative, political, and exciting artforms.
